Inkjet Prints

This series documents abandoned rooms, shelves and doors that reveal traces of past use. By capturing the remains of human activity, the work frames a chaotic moment suspended between what the space was and what it is becoming.

Junxuan Fan
樊俊轩

b. 2003, Shanghai, China
Based in Shanghai / Chicago

Fan Junxuan is an interdisciplinary artist working across photography, painting, sketching, and writing. Grounded in a life lived between East Asia and the United States, the work reflects on how memory, migration, and private experience are shaped by time.

Moving between image-making and text, Junxuan approaches each project as both document and atmosphere. The work often lingers in spaces of transition, where observation, personal history, and emotional residue overlap.
